John Tiedemann is an illustrator living in Sydney. His work has appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald, Sun Herald, Financial Review, Canberra Times, The Bulletin, The Australian Law society Journal, The Week, The Australian, The Sunday Telegraph, News Local and The Daily Telegraph for which he illustrated the Opinion page from 2009 to 2018. He still illustrates a monthly column for Money Magazine and has done so since 1998!
He now makes sculpture too. A new page on this website shows this work.

In his spare time he takes photographs wherever he happens to be. A sizeable proportion of his income from illustrations pays for lenses.
